Bonnie Patton, DONA Trained
Birth Doula

I currenty live in the Hillsboro / Beaverton area of Oregon with my husband of 20 years and 2 of my 3 children. Having my children was the most wonderful experience in my life. Sharing that time with others and helping families is something that I feel called to do.

Being able to comfort, support and encourage a woman and her partner in the process of becoming a family is such a passion and joy. Having a good birth experience is life changing and something a couple will remember for the rest of their lives.

I attended my Dona International doula training in Oct. 2008. I am currently finishing up my certication. My professional experience includes: hospital births, vaginal medicated and unmedicated, inductions and vacuum assisted births.

Client Testimonials:

"I had twins via caesarian on Dec 22, 2009. When I came home from the hospital Bonnie was very willing to come help out around the house. I have a 2 year old son and with the new babies we needed a helping hand. Bonnie was there and helped out greatly. She prepared delicious meals, entertained my two year old, brought over some comforts she projected I would need and use (and she was right!), and helped with the twins wherever she could. Bonnie was a HUGE help and I greatly appreciated her presence and would highly recommend her to anyone wanting a sense of well-being before, during, or after labor/delivery."          -Stephanie Pratt

"We were Bonnie's first Doula experience. I called her at around 1:00 in the morning and she was there within an hour. Poor Bonnie was stuck with me until about 1:00pm the same day. She helped me breath through my contractions and was also able to help me with my pain by using massage (which helped greatly). She was able to catch on to my cues of when I wanted things and when I wanted to be left alone. During rest times we sat and talked with my husband , mom and my nurse. We had such a lovely time wth Bonnie being our Doula. I wish I had her there for my first one too. If I where to have another child I would definitely use Bonnie again."          -Molly Richardson
