Birth Doula Role

A doula is a trusted, supportive companion whose experience in childbirth and the postpartum period aids in the important role of nurturing women and their families during their transition to parenthood.

A Birth Doula provides non-medical, physical and emotional support, along with educational and resource assistance. Her goal is to help women have safe and satisfying birth experiences, as defined by each individual woman.

We offer a free initial consultation with one of our doula teams. This provides an opportunity to meet, answer any questions you may have and see if New Creation Doulas has the right team to meet your birthing needs.

Our Birth Doula Package Includes:

• Two prenatal meetings
• Help creating a Birth Plan
• Discovery of your pain coping skills
• Use of a birth ball (upon availability)
• Unlimited availability to answer questions by phone or email
• 24 hour on-call services for your birth
• Continuous labor support
• Initial breastfeeding support & referrals, as needed
• One postpartum visit
• Typewritten birth notes
